Join us for Third Shabbat learning at The J. Renowned author Howard Schwartz will join us to discuss “A Palace of Pearls and Other Fantastic Places.” All are welcome! This event is free and open to the public. 

Howard Schwartz is professor emeritus of English at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and an internationally celebrated and award-winning writer and poet. He won the National Jewish Book Award three times and was also a winner of the Koret Jewish Book Award. He has written and edited dozens of works in fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. His discussion will focus on his newest book, A Palace of Pearls: The Stories of Rabbi Nachman of Bratslav.
